Shahabad is a village located in Jupar which is located in the foothills of the central mountains (Mount Juarez). The exact date of the origin of Jupiter is not known, but in the local history books of Kerman from the 6th century onwards, Jupar Mountain and Jupar Castle have been mentioned many times and it shows that Jopar was a large part.
There are 22 old aqueducts in this city, such as the Goharriz International Aqueduct, which is one of the largest aqueducts in the country. This aqueduct supplies water to the city of Jupar and the surrounding areas for drinking and agriculture.
This aqueduct is one of the unique historical monuments that has been registered by UNESCO The existence of the Goharriz aqueduct in this city since the time of Anahita indicates that Jopar has been a city and a fertile land for a long time. Many snow-covered areas and springs with vegetation and forest are unique landscapes of the region.
This area is one of the summer areas of Kerman city so that in summer about 20 families live in settlements and farms and in winter they move to nearby cities or villages.
This region has a great diversity of wildlife due to its diverse habitats (mountainous and plain). The presence of glaciers, lush meadows, springs and some meadows has given a special beauty to the Jupar region.
